The release of Jack Johnson’s sixth solo album marks a reversion in his music to the acoustical tunes that characterized his debut. Although in the past Johnson changed the pace of his music through electric guitars and quicker riffs, in this new work, he returns to his surfer roots.Hailing from Oahu, Johnson began making music after suffering a head injury that ended his surfing career.
