“L.A. Love”, Fergie’s latest hit, was released Monday, Sept. 29 and surprised listeners with a refreshing, upbeat mix of pop, latino, and hip-hop influences. Produced by DJ Mustard, Fergie’s newly released single represents a much-needed return for the diva; she had not dropped any new material for the last 6 years, partly because of the recent birth of her son, Axl. The song, featuring Fergie’s characteristic dynamic and independent style, speaks about L.A. becoming a hub of musical creation, one that ends up influencing the entire world. The single will be part of the artist’s sophomore album that is still to be named and released.
