Therefore, it comes as no surprise that only seven years later, the album has already been reissued. However, this is not a gimmicky attempt to cash in further on Dilla’s masterpiece by the label, but rather a fantastic box of eight 7” singles, a format that suits the sonically-fragmented layout of the Donuts album fantastically. Furthermore, there are even some bonus tracks, most notably “Signs,” a great rarity from the Donuts era that fans of the record will unquestionably dig.
